Dara Forleo

Dara Forleo

In 1999, I attended Nash Academy in Lexington, Kentucky. Upon completing the Nash program, I earned my BA for Business Management from Ottawa University. Over the last 12 years, I have built a state of the art facility that has earned recognition from the community and my devoted following of clients called Dara’s Paw Spaw and The Whole Pet Grooming Academy. The skills and knowledge I have gained has helped me develop new and better ways to make the pets in my care comfortable throughout their lifetime. Implementing these same skills and practices, I provide students coming to the academy with the best equipment, products and curriculum, unlike any other offered in the country. Training is not just about producing a beautiful groom today, it is about the long term well being of the groomer, the pet, the customer and the business.
Crystal Daigle

Crystal Daigle

I have been grooming dogs for over 15 years. I stumbled upon grooming through a series of curious events and have never looked back. In 2015, I decided to further my grooming career, I joined ISCC and NDGAA. I reached out to Pam Lauritzen in hopes to get tips on finding dogs to use for certification and grooming competitions. She advised me to seek out Show Breeders and go to dog shows to study grooming. So I did, in a very short time I was contracted to own and show a Standard Poodle in AKC conformation. I had no idea what I was getting into! With hard work and mentoring by two of AKC’s most experienced poodle handlers I was able to be very successful in the AKC show rings. Two years later, my boy Cartier is the j#4 Standard Poodle in AKC NOHS breed rankings and is a Grand Champion! I have also added a new standard poodle puppy to my show family. In the last two years I have also earned my NCMG and placed first place in All Other Pure Breeds category, entry division, at the All American Groom Show (2016).
